I'd like to take this moment to apologize to both of you for the way Coach Polk has absolutely 17'ed this situation. You have been loyal to your University, were a great player, and have worked hard trying to keep us as a top program. Your years of service have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.
I am sorry Coach Polk promised you a job he could not deliver. While he didnt count on LT being fired, he still shouldnt have promised you something like that. Get your resume ready and find you a head coaching job at a smaller school. It will be just as sweet having success there when you attain it. And hopefully, when you do, it leads you to a top job to round off your career. Your wife can be happy more than hour away from Calhoun City. She will be fine
