Is Selmon DEI? Is he an industry plant? Like Obama and Jelly Roll ect. Where did come from? It’s like he came out of nowhere, and his own personal billboard sign hanging up out in Los Vegas. Come on. We’re dumb and fell for the bait. Or something else.

If you knew anything about the Selmons you wouldn’t say he’s an industry plant. Could he not be as good as the rest of his family running athletics? Certainly but the pedigree was there.

So what exactly did he do to earn this type of hype?

Be a Selmon.
At best sounds like an industry plant to me. As in by definition, becomes popular through connections, wealth, inheritance, or nepotism, rather than their own merits. I’m sure being black helped the cause as it does with DEI.

I think Selmon is just a good old fashioned bad hire.

Edited to ad: For State at this point and time. I think he can be a good administrator down the road....we just didn't need an administrative "intern" or puppet for Keenum right now.

The company I work for hired a retired state of Louisiana administrator to organize and run our DEI initiatives about 3 years ago. It’s been an epic failure so far as her team still has issues conducting Webex DEI training. I figure our CEO will give the whole team walking papers after Trump takes office.
