c'mon... a no posting on the internet policy about questions to athletic department types. what are they going to say when asked about recruiting that is so big of a deal......"yeah we gave that recruit $3,000 more than L$U did and he actually came to State." geez.

It is against NCAA rules for coaches to comment on specific recruits. If a coach is promised that no information will leak from a certain booster meeting, then he is very likely will be more willing to share specifics about recruiting and/or the program in general that he normally wouldn't. However, if he later finds out that what he said leaked onto the internet, then he and the other coaches would be much less likely to share as much the next time they visit, or IF they visit at all. You can hear some very good stuff at the 120 Club, but spreading it on the internet won't help you gather any future information. Unless you are a teenage girl dying to blab every last secret you hear, then damnit you should be able to keep your mouth shut.</p>

I 'think' the actual rules are they can't say anything to the media.

However, most try to carry that same policy over to any gathering of multiple people.
