not getting the respect he's earned. The man has won big everywhere he's coached. Sounds like he doesn't get outworked, and recruits very well. Some say it will be easy for him to recruit div.1 after recruiting div.2 . We need someone to come in and take the team a new direction and starting with hard work is almost always right. I don't see him as any kind of a risky hire, but I have been hoping for him to be our next coach for a few years. Winning a NC, working harder than everyone else, and always winning no matter what level he's coached at makes him a great hire I think. Some other coaches mentioned have much more recruiting areas than we do. We would be a much different program if MSU was thirty minutes from a city of 100.000 plus people, or especially if we were close to a city with millions to chose from. We will never be, so I think we would be better off getting someone who knows how to recruit Mississippi and other states in our region. Like others have said he may not leave DSU. If he does move up to div.1 I hope it is with us.
