That's true.

I'd been hoping that Bieniemy would get the job but I'm thinking the transition will be difficult.

I'm pretty much thinking it's going to be a disaster soon for the Saints anyway no matter the coach.

He's from A&M, I wonder if he'll replace the Saintsations with Yell Leaders.

Bieniemy would be an absolute disaster

I don’t know if he’d be a disaster or not but something is off with him. He’s probably interviewed for 10 jobs over the past 3 or 4 years. He’s clearly not doing something right on the interview

Good choice. If they can bring in a top notch oc and sign a qb they could be alright. Going to be tough after having a stable winning coach for so long

Kinda see both sides of the coin here. Allen is a longtime Payton disciple and should largely maintain the locker room culture. And he’s been great as a DC. That said, he does have prior NFL head coaching experience and it was a train wreck. 8-28 with the Raiders over 2.25 years. The personnel issues on offense still exist, too.

I am in wait and see mode. As others have said, won’t be easy to replace what was by far the best coach in franchise history.

If the infatuation with Taysom Hill and Jameis truly left with Coach Vicodin.

I am over the Taysom Hill experiment but I thought Jameis was better than expected when healthy. They went 5-2 with him starting and 4-6 without.

Allen will get paid, Saints will clear cap space the next year or two. Fire Allen then trade for Dak and hire Joe Lombardi as coach.

I have lost so much interest in NFL. I probably only watched 3 hours worth all season. I will watch the kick off of the Super Bowl and then turn channel. I am to the point I don't care who coaches, who don't coach, who's the QB. I just don't care anymore.
