Haven’t looked at it but MS State baseball should be able to recruit some of the best talent from any state.
But we also need to be an elite recruiter in MS, AL and GA.

I haven’t looked in a couple years, but MSU and OM had the most out of state players in the SEC pre-COVID. I think Mississippi’s in-state crop being hit or miss is a part of that. But, both do a solid job reaching outside of the state.

I’d expect the overwhelming majority of MSU’s roster to come from MS, AL and GA year in and year out though. The Memphis suburbs being next in line after that.
