Did anyone watch the Miss. St game? Any early thoughts, preview or analysis? Big game for both programs?

Are we going to play like we did against UNC, and the second half against UGA? Or are going to play like the first half of UGA?

I don't want to be looking back next week and ask why we could play well against UGA, and not have it translate. That happens too often.

First half against UGA we were fresh and rested. Second half UGA depth took a toll on us. Miss St. does not have UGA depth or talent. Should be a good complete game. Plus our O line can work on the false starts. It will help that they won't have the UGA crowd noise.

That certainly seems appealing to believe, but I don't buy it. Our defense got run over coming out of halftime. It was more of a sudden change than slow gradual wearing down. At least, imo.

Just wondering how uga oline and rb’s stackup to miss st. And if msu defense can keep our offense off the fied like uga? That would tend to wear a young thin defense down! We’re probably lucky or maybe just pretty good that the score wasn’t worse!

Miss St is no UGA. They looked really bad against LSU yesterday.

If we can‘t take care of the worst team in the SEC West at home - then……….a long, long season ahead. We will take care of business at home. That goes for any visiting team this year.

Miss St is struggling to find their offensive identity. I hope the struggle continues for another week. They were also repeatedly burned by long/downfield passes.

MSU did not look good at much of anything. That’s about it.

They had 11 straight plays that went for 0 or negative yards. That’s bad.

I watched a little replay last night, their dline line looked pretty stout, but they looked a lot like us in the second half v. Uga., LSU just pushed them around.

Will Rogers in that offense is Square peg in a round hole . Will is an "air raid " QB. Mike Leach would not be happy.
