We've debated this over the last few days. Some say that most people are pissed. Some say that most agree. Let's have the final record on FGF.

Absolutely. As I mentioned a few days back, they did leave out two teams that could have won it all if they were in. FSU had a zero shot.

I feel for them - they did all they could. However, they weren’t clearly in the top 2, so they had to rely on a judgment call from the committee. Several teams would be “snubbed.” They were just one of them

I think UGA should have been in over Texas and even Bama, but they lost last and opened the door for those teams.

and if you put UGA and FSU in, all the reports would have been about how unfair the committee was to Texas and Bama. And how the system is rigged, etc, etc. This was going to be a boon for sports reporters everywhere no matter what happened.

Simply points out the need for an expanded playoff for it to be fair.
I think if FSU beat UGA by 10+ they should play the eventual winner of the 4 team playoff. OSU, FSU, UGA, Liberty even have valid credentials to be included.

FSU with an injured starting qb didn't have the audience appeal of a name like Bama. The CFP is a reality show based on college football. Every decision is based on which teams will draw the biggest audience.
