The bottom line is USC won. Yes the first true road game. UNC put everything they had to win this game. In the end USC found a way to win. There is so much parity in womens basketball. Like they say on any given night you can lose. Will USC go undefeated? Probably not. USC has a lot of really good young players, at the end of the year they will be in the NCAA basketball tourney. Playing on a neutral court evens out everything. Take it one game at a time. Never know.
My thought as well. One, they didn't play their best, and still came out on top - confidence. Two, after smoking everyone thus far, a little reality check to bring them back to earth, and maybe focus a little more could be a very good thing.
