Uniforms are infinitely better with the maroon batting helmets (for the sake of in game comparison).
They’re ok for a 1-game special night. But this is ridiculous.I’m pro military but damn, get rid of them already
I think it has more to do with Stephen than the hats. Maybe that’s just crazy talk though.I mean I’m not the biggest fan either but I think our Friday night record in them is strong.
Camo is for soldiers and hunters. We can honor troops at sporting events while leaving the camo to them. It's fine.Unpopular opinion: In all instances of collegiate athletics (other than service academies) where teams wear camo to "honor the military" it feels completely self-serving and for show.
I mean.. how does it "honor the military" to have a bunch of 18-22 year old beautiful, pampered and entitled college students who are being given every advantage in life wear the colors of other 18-22 year old citizens who are sleeping on the ground, dodging bullets and putting their lives at risk?
Honestly, it feels like we're doing the Bears appreciation chant:
Yeah, the guy on the mound on Friday nights is 6-2 with a 2.5 era but lets change his routine because someone doesn't like camo.Baseball is the most superstition sport in the world. Let do what they want if it makes them more confident.
2 things come to mind:I believe there would be a long string of whining on here if the lady's volleyball team played naked.
