the Houston Texans...he and Slaton would be a good combo, along with Moats

He'd be second string at best in Philly, possiby even fourth. Lesean McCoy is their guy, Westbrook will be back next year, and leonard weaver has actually been very reliable as short yardage guy

They have absolutely no running game with LT on the bench. It is all just going to depend where there draft picks fall. There is going to be a lot of movement before the draft. They are looking at Dwyer, Tate, Ryan Matthews and a few other "big" backs too. It will all be about opportunity. IMO, taking any of those backs with the Chargers' late 1st round pick would be a reach. Hopefully they go OL/DL and Dixon is still around in the 2nd. Would just be a perfect situation for him. I would obviously love to see 24 beating his chest and having "fun, fun, fun" in the powder blues.

One thing we haven't really discussed, is the impact the wonderlic/interviews are going to have on his stock. I hope it doesn't hurt him too bad, but NFL coaches put a lot of weight into those interviews, especially at critical positions like QB, LT, RB, LB.

Dixon's 40 time as well...the combine may not help his stock very much...with Best and some other Jr's coming out (McKnight may come out as well), I dont think there is any doubt he will be available in the late 2nd round

Miami, because Ronnie got hurt again this year and Ricky is getting older. They're a power team, but we'll see..

I think he'd be a good fit in Buffalo and Seattle as well.. Look for a team that plays in bad weather that has a power running game..

I know everyone's going to this two back system... but Steven Jackson shouldn't leave the field unless he can't move his legs.

Houston is where he needs to go... and as long as he can hold onto the ball, he'll have job security. Slaton/Dixon/Moats/Foster would be a pretty solid RB corp.

He would be a nice compliment to Portis and would be great in Shanahan's scheme.

Just a thought, I have no idea when J-Rock is a FA.

Since the Saints probably aren't going to want to pony up for Bush's primo cash year, my dream scenario has them snagging Jerious in his place and drafting Dixon to come in as a 3rd back or possibly in place of Mike Bell. Of course, it'll never happen. They'll probably draft McCluster and Snead or some crap like that.

I bet the Titans will take Dixon in the third round....they need a capable back behind Johnson who has some power since the LenDale White experiment has been an utter failure. Also, Dixon will prove more than capable and they will split a lot of carries next year to keep the wear off of Johnson. They don't wanna put 2,000 yards on him every year, I can promise you that. 2,000 yad years take their toll quickly. I see Dixon and Johnson ending up like Stewart and Williams at Carolina eventually!
