I see players transferring once, not that I always like or agree with reasons. However transferring a second or third time starts to scream that its all about you and everyone else is the problem. Wells is no different. If it doesnt go your way you can leave. I think players that transfer this much will begin to get lost in the NFL searches. Then when not drafted or anything, their NIL money is gone and they dont even know where their degree is truly from because of being at 3-4 different schools. This is why this age group didnt need NIL, they are not ready to handle it. Even though he is gone, Frank Martin had best plan: Collect money for them into an account while in college. Have them take classes on how to manage and save money. Teach responsibility. Then when they graduate, they have that nice amount in the bank ready to start their lives in the black with sense about what to do.
Right now it is grab what you can from as many places as you can and then run and spend. In a few years, people like Wells and many, many others will be lost in obscurity and wondering what the heck happened.

Not sure, but isn't the team he's leaving without a coach or conference at this point?

I getbyour point, and agree. But this seems like a weird, semi unique situation.

At some point, you have to let people be adults, even if they are 18-22. Most people, not just young ones, don't know how to manage money. You should get instruction on that from your parents not from a coach or someone involved with a school.
