Do you ever feel bad for former players that played under worse coaches or with a less than
stellar supporting cast? And do you wonder if their stats would have been much better and even if their futures would have turned out differently? It may be that the talent somehow finds its way to the pros. We've had tight ends that caught very few passes at State yet had long careers in the NFL. But I still wonder sometimes. What if Fant had last year's offensive line? What if Omarr Conner played under Mullen in this offense? Certainly Mullen would have much better utilized some of those decent receivers that played under Croom. <div>
