Does anybody need some java brown paint at a good price?

...because I understand the University is soon going to be in possession of roughly 40,000 gallons at a cost of $750,000. Seems good ole Foglesong approved the $2M contract with a commercial painting company for DWS and told them to bill the MSU Athletic Department. Evidently the labor portion of the contract was able to be canceled after Foglesong skipped town, but the paint had already been ordered.

Someone tell me this isn't true.

Oh.... and one of his last acts was to order a bill from landscaping sent to the Athletic Department in the amount of $10,000 for the removal of the crepe myrtles and subsequent replanting in front of Dudy Noble.

Mission accomplished, huh?

The stadium desperately needs painting. If it were a car right now, it would look like this:

They could probably add a little magenta to the JAVA brown and make it look maroon.
