Does anybody really think Georgia is going to win tonight?

Announce yourselves and make your case. I’m trying hard to care about tonight but apathy has set in.

I can hope. I guess the only evidence is historically it’s hard to beat a team twice.

Upon research rematches in bowl games have gone to the loser of the first game 8 times in a row.

It’s very hard for me to even get remotely excited about this game. I’m so sick of bama. I’m sure Georgia will have the lead late then bama will pull off some bs and win.

Georgia seems to be what Clemson used to be…

Just good enough to go a long way and blow it somehow. They have a great team, but they never seem to get over the hump.

Id feel pretty good taking UGA -3. I'm also terrible at gambling on sports.

I feel like Bama wins, but i look for a huge defensive performance out of UGA. They were embarrassed in the first game. Dean might murder someone. If I were betting I would just take the under.

Even with Metchie out, unless Stetson Bennett is channeling his inner Cam Newton, Trevor Lawrence, Deshaun Watson, Chad Kelly (for one night), Cardale Jones, Johnny Manziel, Bo Nix (one time), or Stephen Garcia, then nope.

Edit: If Bryce Young goes down, all bets are off. If they lose him, UGA cakewalks.

A lot of pressure on UGA tonight. If not now, when?

They are the more talented team. Will they win? Who knows.

Don't like Bama, but Bama winning again is status quo and frankly no big deal.
Georgia winning, though... I have to live in Georgia, and it will be easier to do so if they lose again.
Still holding out hope for a double forfeit.

Georgia defense embarrasses Bama tonight. The SECC was to get two SEC teams into the playoffs. And that's the most important thing IYKYK

I thought you had to hit a player receiving a fair catch punt to get the 15 yards

I had to look it up because I thought the same as you. Apparently there is a 1 yard shoulder width “protected zone” in front of the receiver.

SECTION 4. Opportunity To Catch a Kick
Interference With Opportunity
ARTICLE 1. a. If an inbounds player of the receiving team is located where they could catch a free kick or a scrimmage kick that has crossed the neutral zone, and if the player is attempting to do so, they must be given an unimpeded opportunity to catch the kick (A.R. 6-3-1-III, A.R. 6-4-1-V, VI and IX).
b. It is an interference foul if, before the receiver touches the ball, a Team A player enters the area defined by the width of the receiver’s shoulders and extending one yard in front of him. When in question it is a foul.(A.R. 6-4-1-X-XIII)
