Does Orgeron count as a "Croomed" coach?

If Croomed means a coach getting fired after losing to MSU, then yes.

If Croomed means a coach getting fired partially because of a loss to Croom, then yes.

If Croomed means a coach getting fired immediately after losing to Croom, then no, because 2007 was Orgeron's second loss to Croom. Going into 2007, he was one of only a handful of D-1A coaches who was still coaching at the school where he lost to Croom.

My vote would go to saying, yes, he goes on the list of coaches being Croomed. However, that vote may get some opposition depending on how Croomed is defined.

definition for croomed:

Croomed - Confidence High that Firing is directly related to having lost to Croom (Zook, Shula)

Quasi-Croomed - Confidence Neutral that Firing is directly related to having lost to Croom (Scelfo, Orgeron, UAB dude)

was he fired because his team was beaten by a Croom coached team. But, it was that sort of knee jerk reaction firing that just screams "If he can beat us, ****, you are fired!" I understand he had been beaten by Croom once before. But, it was clear that the one loss was the final straw and direct cause of the firing.

...and after watching the video there is even National recognition of that. I personally look forward to the day when a win over Florida, LSU, Auburn, or whomever isn't called "being Croomed." I look forward to the day that a win over MSU by anyone, is considered an upset.
