Does the Florida St rule come into play this year?

Last year it was FSU that lost their starting QB and weren’t given a playoff invite despite being undefeated since they were a “different team” post QB loss. Georgia’s QB is now out of the game.

If Georgia loses this game do they get FSU’d and left out of the playoff? ;)

Beck, the injured quarterback, came back into the game for the final play. All he had to do was hand it off, which he did and the TD won the game. Two things stood out to me on that play. First, how did Texas not stop the run on that play? The quarterback couldn't throw the ball and there was no way he was going to risk further injury by running himself. He had to hand the ball off, but somehow Texas wasn't prepared to stop that play. Second, I really think that Kirby Smart put him back in the game to show the committee that their quarterback isn't injured. Almost to say "Look, he is back in the game. You can't penalize us like you did Florida State last year".
