Does the NIL help or hurt us?

I read a story that leads me to believe that Lane Kiffin likes it. He says that Ole Miss can now get the best prospect on their recruiting list (who is only the 20th best prospect on Alabama's). Previously, that prospect would go to Bama's bench. Now Ole Miss can throw big NIL money and get him due to the money. That makes sense to me. So is NIL a benefit to Carolina?

The NIL has the potential to help us, HOWEVER, I'm afraid we will be unable to keep pace with most other schools associates which have much deeper pockets than we can hope for.
Keep in mind, it's not the school that administers any NIL monies, but boosters to the school.

I definitely think we'll be unable to keep pace with the schools with deeper pockets - but that has always been the case. I think the traditional powers (that traditionally spend the most on facilities, coaches, etc.) will continue to spend the most in NIL. NIL won't change the overall landscape because those that spent the most in the past will continue to do what they do - and so will all the schools down the line. But I do think it will allow the USC's and Ole Miss' of the world to snag some better players as Kiffin suggests.
