This *should* get us back into the tournament, and if the freshmen turn out to be good, a 4 seed is not out of the realm of possibilty.

I haven't heard anything, but I have that same feeling that I had when Lawrence decided to return... and that was the feeling that he was going to return.

Jamont is a smart kid... I think he knows he has a lot to work on, and a year of free school and a degree could eventually help him in the long run.

However, I've been wrong before.

I think its still wishing thinking but if Jamont returned that would be a heck of a starting perimeter lineup with Jamont at the point and Stewart and Bost on the wings. I just hope that Beckham and/or Bost would be able to be the backup point and let Stewart stay on the wing.

but what do we do with Bost? Does he come off the bench for Gordon...what 5 minutes per game or do we actually try to work him in at the 2? Would you put them both in and let Gordon play some at the 2? I guess its good to have options.

I say all of this because from most accounts Bost is going to be ready to step in immediately.

i'm sure he wouldn't like the idea, but i think it has worked for us in the past (in short spurts). we haven't really had anyone else who could play PG since gordon's been here, and he was kinda forced into the position early. i think bost is more of a scorer, and can play the 1 and the 2. but it might not be too good for twany, who is more of a 1, if i remember correctly.

his freshmens year. Ervin won some award as the best 6th man in the sec or something that year. Bost would give us excellent depth that way, plus we would be able to develop him a little easier instead of throwing him into the fire per say. I really like Ravern at the 3 though, and Osby coming in at the 4 and the 3 periodically in games. Couple that with Benock getting a little better and the other 3 star SG/PG we signed, and we're around 8 deep.

when Jamont came back to Starkville and returned to class. That at least proved that he was heavily considering returning.
