1) Dan McDonnell- Louisville
2) Tony Vitello-Tennessee
3) Cliff Godwin- East Carolina
4) Tom Walter- Wake Forest
5) Chris Pollard- Duke

Monte Lee should be a last resort, give him the job if you want founders park to be a ghost town next year. This job is high profile enough that I'd think at least one of those guys would say yes, especially if you open up the checkbook for them.

2) Tony Vitello-Tennessee - Tennessee will not let that happen. It just won't.
3) Cliff Godwin- East Carolina - He's not leaving ECU unless it's for Ole Miss. He has had other opportunities and turned them down.
4) Tom Walter- Wake Forest - signed big contract last year. Buyout will be too big.
5) Chris Pollard- Duke - Plausible, unless he's happy winning at a place where there's not the same pressure that there is here. He could be a lifer a Duke.

Would obviously take any of the above, but I think we'll end up stuck with Monte and hope he can get it done. I don't think it would be awful, but I don't know that it would be great.

1. McDonnell is very publicly unhappy at UL because since the new AD hired in 2022 the baseball team has had absolutely zero support including the former AD promised improvement to the stadium and all ULs NIL money has gone to football and basketball.

2. Vitello to the best of my knowledge has never been mentioned as a candidate....one of his assitants has though.

3. Godwin has not turned down the job and has been contacted. He is still in play.

4. Walter not sure he is a candidate, but the WFU would doubtfully be that bad. The one for McDonnell however may be.

5. Pollard is a legitimate candidate also still in play.
