A 5 Star QB transfer can make a world of difference! Just ask a 2010 Auburn Tiger fan. Auburn went from a 3-5 SEC record with a bowl win to a 14-0 National Championship season led by Cam Newton & a 2nd year head coach.

Gamecocks had a 3-5 SEC record in 2021 with a bowl win. They are led by a 5 Star Transfer QB Spencer Rattler & a 2nd year head coach in 2022.

Here is a comparison of 2009-10 Auburn & 2021-22 S.C.:

Looking at your schedule I see 4 wins, maybe with luck 5 this year. Posts like that are why the rest of the SEC laughs at you all so much. You have never won anything even with two hall of fame coaches yet baby beamer ball is going to win it all! If Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier couldn’t do it Beamer sure ain’t gonna do it. Heck, you all are so delusional Spurrier left you in mid season and nobody faults him for it.

I did not say the Gamecocks were going undefeated to win the national championship. I just pointed out that Auburn in 2010 won the national championship after having a very similar year in 2009 that the Gamecocks had in 2021 and are getting a five-star transfer quarterback. I think you'll be very disappointed to see the Gamecocks have a very good season!

I think that Spurrier would have won it all here if he didn’t get the retirement bug during his last few years and stop recruiting and focus solely on golf and the grandkids. While letting his son run the program into the ground. Spurrier was clicking with the culture here and doing great. Muschamp was NOT. And now Beamer might work out very well. We are about to find out.

Beamer won’t be your coach in 3 years. He is a cross between Derick Dooley and Pee Wee Herman. He’s trying to be buddies with his players instead of a coach. Not trying to troll, just what I see. He is more a cheerleader on the sideline than a ball coach. Maybe I’m wrong, but it doesn’t look good from here.

I would almost bet that Dan Mullen will be the next coach up for you.

I would prefer for Shane to be a little more calm on the sideline. The jury is still out on him. He did overachieve here in his first year, to your surprise, obviously. I was surprised that he didn't jettison OC Satterfield last season. And nothing I saw last night gave me any more confidence in Satterfield. A lot of folks here want to blame the OL coach, and, that may be justified. But Satterfield has never produced even a Top 50 offense in his prior years as an OC (this is his 6th). And he did not have our OL coach in his first 4 years as an OC. We had barely over 300 yards of total offense last night. That's pathetic. Shane did not make any staff changes that I'm aware of after last season. I don't know why. Firing someone is not pleasant. But, he gets paid big bucks to make unpleasant decisions when needed. Hopefully Satterfield will be gang busters the rest of this season. If not, watch the OL coach be the "fall guy" while Satterfield comes back.
