Can't wait to see this kid play the Phillies with all the Hack hate.

Schwarbomb, Big Stick Nick, Bryce, and Bohmie will take care of him. Maybe he will throw pitches into the dirt like his big bro did the same with sideline passes! 😂😂😂😂😂

Remember Christian Hackenberg maintained his commitment to PSU when he was a 5 star QB and sanctions were imposed on PSU. He could have gone to any college in the country. If he and Adam Breneman had chosen to give up commitment to PSU when the sanctions were imposed, that year's recruiting class may have imploded. We were not great during the sanction years but many predicted we would have 2 or 3 win season. Now, Christian had a terrific freshman year but was not as good as we had hoped later on in college-not sure why. Regardless of that he chose PSU and kept his choice to PSU at a time of crisis of PSU and we should honor that. Good luck to his brother-hope he does well in professional Baseball.

Unpopular hot take:

Christian Hackenberg has a better college/pro career had he literally gone anywhere else but Penn State.

It was frustrating that CJF and company wouldn't install a few offensive playbook subsets to help Hack do what he did best. Trying to shove a square peg in a round hole didn't help anyone out in that situation. These days he would have transferred.

Literally anywhere? So had he gone to Bucknell his career would have been better?

Not anywhere, but of the places he had offers from that were good (Bama, Florida, Tennessee, Miami, VT, etc.). Especially Bama.

If hack transferred he would never get drafted. Where was hack going to start?
The more accurate question is where would he not have started. I would have loved to have seen what he could have done playing behind a real offensive line.
