He might feel like a new offense is only going to limit his opportunities to put things on film. Gonna be hard to replicate our numbers of pass attempts next year.

He didn’t have any eligibility left.

ETA: At least I remember one of the podcasts mentioned he didn’t

Never understood why he didn't catch more balls. He started out good and just kinda disappeared. You can't tell me he wasn't always open. 6'5" ? Who can cover him ? Not any 5'11" or 6' corner. No way.

He definitely has the build that NFL teams like, and he did some really nice things in the first half of the season. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see a team draft him.

He made a post back in early December, when everyone else was running it back, that sounded like his request for another year was denied. I’m not sure, maybe had something to do with being a juco transfer. But sounded like he wanted another year

I’d be surprised if he gets taken. You don’t see very many 5th year seniors get drafted at WR. But he is a special case where he was kind of a late bloomer. Maybe somebody takes a late flyer if he puts on a show at the combine and/or pro days.

Unless his frame can hold some weight and he moves to a pass catching TE, I don’t see him holding much value as an outside wr in the NFL.

he can declare for the draft all he wants. that dude will never see an NFL football field, unless it's a practice squad, which can be livable money, but not life changing money

The trend where players without eligibility “declare” for the draft needs to stop.

At 6'5", I hear he is considered "top shelf" talent.
