I've got a really busy Sunday, and may miss the beginning of the Birds game. As such, I'm setting up the game thread late Saturday evening.

Please use this thread for all pre-game, in-game, and postgame discussion about the Birds - Cardinals game.

I can attest to the number of Eagle fans in Arizona for this game. Should be 50-50 split at best. 60-40 at worst for Philly.

17-17, 3rd & goal for the Birds from the Cardinal 5, and a pass to Watkins in the end zone is incomplete. The Birds had been trying to burn clock, and ran Sanders on 1st & 2nd down. Disappointing call/execution on 3rd down.

Birds settle for a 23-yard FG attempt, and convert with 1:45 left in the game, 20-17, Birds. Dicker the kicker comes through.

I just wanted to point out, for no reason, that if Murray had not slid on that last run, the Cardinals would have had a few more options to make a play for the EZ. Very bad decision on Murray’s part to slide instead of diving for the first down. The spot was correct, but if Murray hadn’t slid, the Cards could have grounded the ball to stop the clock, make a play for the ez.

Eagles playing good ball but was surprised they struggled against the Cardinals. Should be a good game Sunday night. As a Cowboys’ fan, their defense gives them a fighter’s chance but sooner or later I think the clock strikes midnight on Cinderella Rush. We’ll see.
