EA Sports Game

Just a curious question for those of you who play this game. According to this article, all players that opt-in get $500. Some are holding out for a bit more. In the scheme of the game, how important is it to you that current players are represented, or would you be okay with made-up players?

For me, if they get $500 then, okay. If they want more, then leave them out. I typically play Dynasty mode so I only use them one or two seasons anyway. I’m more interested in all schools being included.

I’m also curious to see how they include NIL and the portal.

I'm beyond excited for the game to come out. It'll be nice seeing an actual college football game back on consoles once again. It'll be very interesting how they include players name, image and likeness and also juggling the portal and everything else. I cant wait to start my Gamecock Dynasty

It was always a fun game - I don't know if I'd get back into now all these years later.

But yes, leave them out if they don't want their $500. NFL players all get the same amount from EA for Madden - that's the best player in Mahomes, all the way to the worst player (always some player on the Panthers).

If they have a good Team Builder it won't matter. Guys will have accurate rosters up and running within a month. If I were EA, I might go a little higher for All-American level players, but I would leave anyone else out who wanted to negotiate for more money. The community will promptly add them in with a good Team Builder.

I heard if you use Clemson in dynasty mode it automatically disables the transfer portal function. Not sure if true??
