My favorite thing about Texas joining is one day getting to watch them lose to Vandy and the camera pans to the 50 nerdiest students in the crowd doing horns down.
Never. State and South Carolina are the only two SEC teams that have never played OU.
I told my Sooner wife last week “Just think, in two years, when I say ‘OU has never beaten Mississippi State’, it won’t be because they’ve never played.”
Get ready to hear that damn "Boomer Sooner" song ad nauseam. They average 66 times per game playing it according to an article I read on SB Nation or SDS. In a loss to Iowa St it was only 51 times. UTX is almost as bad w/ "Texas Fight" that they play and there's always Rocky Top......
I’m going out on a limb to say we will play them both on the road before they come to Starkville.
Crazy we have never played them. I wouldn’t be shocked if both us and South Carolina get Oklahoma since neither have played them before.
I have family that live in Oklahoma City, they are all Oklahoma state fans though. I’ve been to one game in Norman when I was younger. It’s a great college town.

I suspect we will move the AZ State game in order to play and that game is a road game. You probably right exspecially when you look back that we went on the road to play A&M back to back when they joined.

I thought that was the teams record versus Ok and was shocked at that Missouri line then looked it up and saw that’s Ok’s record vs SEC teams.
There is a rumor circulating this morning that we will play Oklahoma in Norman next year and won’t play Texas yet.
No other school has played Alabama more than Miss State. I am ready for that banner to be hung in another stadium.
seems like Arkansas would have played them longer since they were in the old Southwest Conference together.
The Sooners were only in the Southwest Conference from 1915 - 1919.

Also interesting that they (along with Oklahoma A&M/St) went from the SWC to the Missouri Valley Conference. I never knew they were members there. In fact, I was kind of surprised at the list of MVC former members. If they could have kept these teams in the boat, they could have had a really strong conference:

I believe it. I expect us to get royally screwed after Saban bitched about us being dropped as a permanent opponent. Hell, I would want to keep a team I had beaten 80% of the time in the last century.
