I am drinking the Black and Gold kool-aid listening to the Sirius training camp audio.

I am buying, if for no other reason than the NFC South not being too tough this year.

Mainly because the division is weak.

I don't think Duece will last the year, so the running game will suck. But, with Shockey, I think the short passing game will be able to pick up some slack.

Either way the D has to play much better and Brees cannot get hurt.

No more Fred Thomas getting beat deep.
Our defensive is looking a lot better than last year.

With the addition of Shockey and a healthly Meachum the offense is potent.

Even if Brees goes down, Burnell can step in and take over...

Also, P. Thomas needs to get the call before Stecker if and when Deuce goes down.

Saints will win the NFC South this year...

I keep hearing that he is not looking all that great and that Arrington looks better already.... to the point that since Meachum doesn't play on ST they may cut him...

I've been to about 10 practices and Meachem, Moore & Arrington have been money.
Henderson has a hammy and is not practicing along with Colston.

I think they keep Patten.

Henderson and Copper are question marks this year, one of them is gone.

If Sean Payton shows that he can take the Saints to the playoffs this year, he might be worthy to be hired as the Head Coach of America's Team. Until then, I think Wade Phillips is simply a caretaker until the Cowboys can hire someone worthy of the Tom Landry position.

for all you Romo-haters, you have to remember he was a originally a Free Agent signee, not some fancy-pants 1st round bust. If Romo can keep his head focused on football and not Jessica Simpson/Carrie Underwood's *** 24/7, he might garner yet another Pro Bowl appearance.

As always, wise men follow the star.
