South Carolina football WR announces transfer
South Carolina Gamecocks receiver announced his transfer on Monday morning.
WHY, WHY, WHY... damnitt!!!! Is it slow footed, is it brick hands, is it cant learn the playbook, is it got a little NIL money and a little is enough and became lazy?????? I so wanted this kid to work out. he was a physical phenom. The type of player, if good, imposes impactful intimidation to the opposing DB's that look up at the massive 245lbs and wonder how they could possible cover that. He just never panned out. Couldn't get open? what is it? does anyone have a take on this young man. When I saw him catch a few of the catches he had last year I was impressed. He looked agile for a big receiver. Why was he not utilized or figured out? I cannot wrap my head around this one.![]()

Damn….he was the one dude I thought would shine this year. I didn’t read the article but it’s not his hands and it can’t be his leaping ability and he sure as hell ain’t slow or small, I just felt like he needed the ball thrown to him. Oh wellWHY, WHY, WHY... damnitt!!!! Is it slow footed, is it brick hands, is it cant learn the playbook, is it got a little NIL money and a little is enough and became lazy?????? I mean, there was a reason he was where he was prior to here…. I guess it’s not a big head scratcher
It isn't. A few of us spoke the truth about him. I wish him well....but at his size and reported speed....there were (multiple) reasons why Alabama and the like weren't knocking down his door. Will and can we find diamonds in the rough? Absolutely...and I think our program needs to mine for them. But, a 6'7 245 lb guy with 4.4ish straight line speed who can REALLY play would not have been where he was prior to USC in the first place.I mean, there was a reason he was where he was prior to here…. I guess it’s not a big head scratcher
