Gives us a 41.2% chance to win at UGA.

We ought to win, but I expect it will be a tight game, but I'm sure our guys realize we would have won the first game if we had just hit our FTs.

If I am not mistaken, I believe those % thing on ESPN are all done by a computer using a set formula and are not really an opinion type of thing.

haha, yeah, I'm sure that's what it is. Was just surprised to see them basically picking us to lose. I assume vegas will have us favored to win. Expect it'll be a tough game, though.

I recall the 1996--1997 season when we started 11-0 in conference play and then lost to UGA, then we win out and won the first game of the SECT and then lost to UGA again. They were just a bad matchup for us.

My point is, that it is not really them picking the Gamecocks to lose, it is the analytics programmed in their computer that is making that pick. I am not saying none of the talking heads at ESPN are not going to pick UGA. I am just saying that that percentage chance to-win thing has nothing to do with the talking heads.

Yes, I agreed with that. Thread title was sarcasm.
