The article says that he “had been battling cancer for years.” I had no idea. Very sad. I always liked him.

What is really difficult to accept is many of your peers passing.....makes one realize how precious our time is.
Indeed... just had a good friend from high school pass from pancreatic cancer. God cancer is just so awful. Got into his spine and bones at the end. He was in so much pain it was truly a blessing when he passed for him not to be in that pain anymore. He told us all he would see us on the other side and prepare the way for us all to see him again.
