Ever notice that "Sunshine Pumpers" can't post a comment without using the word "IF"?

A quick scan of the board shows they're averaging a little over 3.5 "ifs" per post. A greatly improved offense line and running game are the current leading ''ifs". Surprisingly, Overrated Opponents and their weaknesses edged out Injuries for the #3 excuse, I meant spot.

Kind of funny but, "Coaching" was never even mentioned except by "Doom & Gloomers", in rebuttal.

Opinions about sports that aren't rooted in any sort of inflammatory outlook (such as race, sex, or other such things) shouldn't get to anyone.

The best program [Bama] ever fans do the same thing. Nobody can predict the outcome of any games so “if” will be in a lot of statements or sentences lol

I think "ifs" are a big part of South Carolina football projections, given that the program has been mediocre at best for most of hits 100+ year history. As for this year - basing an opinion only on what's on paper since USC hadn't played a game yet, I think team will be better than last year but may not win that much. The big "ifs" for me other than staying healthy are:
1) Can offensive line be good... they don't have to be great, but at least be good. They were not good last year.
2) Can receivers make up for their lack of size by making big plays.
IF those things can happen, this team has a chance to win 6 games.

How bizarre someone speaking about future events would use contingent language almost as if they aren’t omnipotent.
