It’s easier to have a tantrum, as is demonstrated on the reg. Smh.

Even the McGuire/Roche teams, which remain our most dynamic and dominant period (insert nerd trying to disprove because ‘statistics’) face planted come postseason time.

This team gave us a long awaited boost undeserving of looking their gift horse in its mouth. Hats off and thank you to the players and the coaches👍

To be fair, in '71 their reward for winning the ACC tournament was to play the only undefeated team in the nation.

Every 6 seed was either a 1-and-done or 2-and-done in their conference tourney.
New Mexico can make the 11s' record 4-0 by beating UPC.
I guess momentum does matter. I downplayed it at the expense of my brackets. :(
Momentum may be a factor, but I think it's also true that there probably isn't much separation between 6 seeds and 11 seeds from a quality standpoint. Whatever the causation, when it happens in 3 out of 3 games, I'm not sure it's accurate to call it an "upset." I don't know about the other games, but Oregon's win wasn't an upset, according to Las Vegas.

I just hope the #6 over #11 trend continues into this afternoon.

Looking at the brackets, I’d have rather been a 7 or 8 seed. I would have liked our chances against any 10 seed more than against Oregon.
