Putting ideals ahead of shed blood is a hell of a stand to take.
This country’s politics and values is becoming more immoral, but it’s not slavery.
As a reminder, 600k people died in the US’s last civil war, and that was before automatic weapons and drones. In 1866, one-fifth of the Stae budget of Mississippi was devoted to artificial limbs.
