but I disagree with the way we get there. You're predicting it will be a 4-point game in the 4th quarter, and then we get a couple of field goals to squeeze on by them. I doubt it. I expect a 10 point lead opening up about midway through the second quarter that we pretty much sit on for the rest of the game, perhaps stretching it out by another seven.
For all the flack MSU's offense catches for last year's statistical ranking, keep in mind that La Tech was ranked 85th in total offense (playing a WAC-laden schedule) and 148th in points scored. Not to mention their total defense was ranked 95th in total defense and 123rd in points allowed. So, while I expect a non-blowout, but comfortable win, I also do not see a one score game in the 4th quarter. As a team, I think we're passed that for the La Techs of the world.
