Yes, I am biased as a Gamecock fan. There should be more than 4 SEC teams in the playoff. I think a team from the SEC wins the championship anyway (maybe Oregon from the outside). The problem is that the naysayers and critics of the SEC know the SEC has the best teams. They have SEC envy.

The playoffs WILL turn into the Omaha of baseball. Half the field SEC, finals will be all SEC. Hate and moan all you want but that is the truth. South Carolina is currently on the best 12 teams in the country. They are not going to jump Texas, UGA, Ole Miss or Alabama or Tennessee for that matter.

Texas got lucky this year with the schedule as they missed Ole Miss, Tennessee and Alabama.

I agree. It also seem like SEC teams are the only conference that consistently schedule tough non conference games. For example, UGA had to play Clemson[top 3 team in the ACC], GT[Beat the ACC best team], and also play a hard SEC schedule. For the ppl that believe it’s “SEC Bias” then they should also tell the NFL because it’s more SEC players drafted to the NFL than any other conference.

Ok, I'll play along.
Let's say 5 teams get in as you suggest.
1. Texas
2. Alabama
3. Ole Miss
4. Georgia
5. Tennessee

We're still on the outside looking in. At some point one has to face the fact, that early on this team was not playing well and although now it is a very different team, it's increasing clear it is a little to late to make up any significant ground

Georgia has played more ranked teams than Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana, Miami, Boise State, and BYU, combined. And beaten 3 Top 10 teams. The SEC definitely deserves at least 5 teams. If not, President Greg Sankey should pull all SEC teams from the playoffs l
