How’d everyone doing? Who would have guessed we’d be entering crunch time with names like Sincere McCormick, PJ Taylor and Issac Gurrendo leading the moves.

Had a really good team to start the year (yahoo gave be an A+ for my draft) but it never really came together and my waiver wire moves were whiffs other than picking up Daniels as QB. Had some really close losses and I even lost one week due to stat corrections. I’m in the consolation bracket. In our league the winner of the consolation bracket gets to pick their draft position for next season.

I’ve increasingly convinced myself it’s okay to take bigger risks in draft season. Everyone thought McCaffrey was lock at 1.1.

I drafted Tyreke thinking there was no way I wasn’t getting a Top 20 player. He’s barely a WR 1 this year and has played in every game.

I was in first place in my league most of the year but lost 3 of 4 down the stretch and ended up with the 3 seed. We have an 8 team playoff for a 12 team league so you kinda have to either not pay attention or not know anything about football in order to miss the playoffs.

The Hurts-Barkley duo has carried me this year for sure. I’ve been very inconsistent at WR and have had injury issues at RB2 (mostly been using Brian Robinson who has been very ok). My playoff hopes will depend on if my core of receivers (Wilson, Flowers, Jennings) decides to show up the next 3 weeks. I drafted Waddle and Tank Dell and neither one has worked out, though Waddle has come on a little lately, but not enough for me to trust him yet.

I took a risk at QB and drafted Anthony Richardson. I thought this was the year he would break out. LaPorta was a dud at tight end too. I drafted him pretty high.

It’s such a crap shoot every year and so much depends on luck with injuries. If your first round pick has a major injury then there’s just not a ton you can do sometimes.

I drafted CMC, Diggs, Stroud, and at least one other that ended up on IR, so it was an uphill battle for me all season.

I’m still pissed at SF for the way they handled CMC. They knew good and well that that MFer wasn’t starting the season

I don’t ever remember a year with fewer long term waiver guys available that could help teams. Sure, you had some guys that could step in and be flex-worthy here and there, but no one like Puka or Kyren last year, rookie year Justin Jefferson, etc.

Every league that I’m in, fate for everyone was tied to whoever you drafted.

Brock Bowers, Saquon Barkley & Lamar Jackson. You could have easily ended up with all three of those players and if you did, you are likely sitting pretty. I had Saquon last year and couldn't pull the trigger again. Regrets.

You left out Alvin Kamara, who was the steal of the draft at RB (ADP was in the 70’s or 80’s in half-point PPR in most platforms), and Derrick Henry also went a bit later than he should have. Two old dudes where people over-corrected their expectations.

Jamar Chase, Bijan, and Gibbs were the only 3 first rounders that delivered on ADP…..and the production of Gibbs / Bijan was really no different from about 4-5 guys that went much later in the draft.

I was going to take Ja'Marr Chase, but the guys in front of me let Hill slip by so I took him instead. I hate myself for that move.

I’m rostering him in a couple leagues. He’s running more second half of the season and has TN, Jax & NYG coming up.

He’ll be a popular DFS play those weeks if nothing else.

Can someone explain what has happened to Kirk Cousins and the Falcons passing attack? I watched the Raiders/Falcons game last night and it was like the coaching staff was scared for him to throw it. He looked awful. They conceded every 3rd and long with an off tackle run or a 3 yard out. I've never seen anything like it.

Considering I forgot the SPS draft was even happening, and had to make due with a auto draft team I am just happy to be in the playoffs.
