My second team (because my money went there with my daughter). Final Four baby....
I mean…usually when they talk about bigger schools they aren’t talking about enrollment. Usually has to do with what level of athletics they compete at. I don’t think they showed their ignorance here.I agree. The announcers also showed their ignorance by referring to Florida Atlantic as the little school beating the bigger school. Florida Atlantic is actually larger than K State. It's actually larger than Clemson. FAU has 30K students and K State has 19K. They have a medical school as well as other programs that make it a comprehensive University. It's a gorgeous campus on 2 miles from the ocean. They are growing like many Universities in Florida. It's just not the traditional power. Let's go Owls....

When they say little, I am pretty sure they are not referring to enrollment or the size of the campusI agree. It is reasonable for sports relevance to be the only thing anyone is talking or cares about when discussing a sports team...You are correct. But I think a lot of people aren't aware of the sizes of the schools. They only think in terms of sports relevance. Anyway go Cocks and Go FAU...
I think that's generally true, but if Ohio State were to upset Miami in the college baseball tournament, I don't think the narrative would be about a "little school" upsetting the "big one." I'm sure they would have used different terminology, as they should have done here. When they say little, I am pretty sure they are not referring to enrollment or the size of the campus
