If you don’t list Dak #1 you’re an idiot. What he has or hasn’t done in the NFL doesn’t matter. The fact that he’s controversial in the NFL proves the point.

I say again, I don’t care about your ‘favorite’. If it’s not Dak you’re an idiot. There is no better 2 year era of MSU football. We weren’t #1 in 1980.

Can’t opinions be personal and sentimental? Btw, I think you would have made a fantastic Puritan or Nazi soldier.

Hey I remember when Rutland hit Neon Keon in the hands to take the lead in the 2006 opener (SCe I believe). Dropped, of course.

This thread is mainly good for getting you faquers to tell us how old you are. Sleepy in the “modern era”? Get you a blue pill and go to town. Don smith or Bond in the modern era? Not sure the ticker can take it. Better just have a prune juice and have a nice relaxing evening. (We won’t discuss which group I belong to).

The WR who was the back up to Kyle York who started the 2002 Oregon Game in place of Kevin Fant.
Wait, what? I thought Kyle York did start that game and played the whole game.

Did someone else take the first snap? I don't remember that. I was there, unfortunately.

He did, but wasn't there a WR who played QB in HS that some fans wanted to play QB? I think the wildcat formation was in it's infancy around that time?

You might be thinking of Ken Topps. Came in with that touted 2022 class and was supposed to be the next Romero. Ending up at Murray State I believe.

We ran the wildcat some with Ray Ray. Believe he scored a TD vs. Ole Miss in 2001.

I think we used Ray Ray bivins (sp?) to run the wild cat at times that year? Would have been successful but we couldn't convince Oregon to play in a phone booth.

Robert Ambers, we had geology together in '06 and it led to this exchange.

Ambers: "Hey man, let me cheat off of you on this test"
Me: "I don't think you want to do that. I got a 65 on the last one."
Ambers: "Hell yeah, I made a 30 on the last one"

He then proceeded to cheat off me but I did so poorly that there was no way of knowing he was cheating.

I also had Interviewing with Hank Flick with Ambers. Flick only referred to him as Rag Arm the entire semester. He asked if he could be excused for the Thursday night game and Flick hit him with a "why? you aren't playing"

Was Ken from Tupelo? I may be thinking of Kirk Presley who was a baseball player. Also wasn’t there a backup named Stegall at one point?
