UCLA?? Not saying it won't happen but that's a bold outside-the-box prediction.
Their final games would be Arizona, cal, usc, oregon. Not crazy that they can win all four and beat two top 10 teams.
They would need to hope TCU drops a game, which is pretty reasonable..

Any of the three 8-1 pac 12 teams have a shot.

PSU vs. UNC in the Orange Bowl. Georgia, Tennessee, UCLA, and Ohio State in the CFP.

While his team picks might get shuffled, I think he is pretty good with his overall analysis via conferences:

Two SEC teams to the CFP
1 SEC team to Sugar Bowl
1 SEC team to the Cotton Bowl

1 PAC12 team to CFP
1 PAC 12 team to Rose Bowl
1 PAC 12 team to Alamo Bowl

1 B10 team to CFP
1 B10 team to Rose Bowl
1 B10 team to NY6 Bowl (Orange Bowl)

1 B12 team to Sugar Bowl
1 B12 team to Alamo Bowl

No ACC teams to CFP
1 ACC team to Orange Bowl

He has USC dropping all the way to the Alamo Bowl? Wow.

They just held that powerhouse ASU team to 36 points
And UCLA beat South Alabama by one point. A one-loss UCLA (or USC) being picked over a one-loss Michigan (or Ohio State), I can’t see that happening unless Michigan loses to OSU by > 17 points.

Michigan's schedule has not been difficult. Their big wins (if they lose to OSU) would be #10 PSU and #20-ish Illinois. UCLA would have to likely beat 2 top 10 teams in the final month of the season and be conf champ. I think the committee would weigh that more heavily and also consider UM vs OSU to be a knockout game. Lastly, if UT and UGA both make it, I think the committee would hesitate to give the other 2 spots to the same conference. Oregon and USC have the potential same path.

Yeah, having only two conferences represented would seem to be a bridge too far. You know me, if you want a solid opinion from me, ask me a math question.

When Clemson was highly ranked, you’d have Clemson, SEC, B1G as three of the four, so only one conference could have multiple representations. The scenario we’re talking about now, meaning the CFC being represented by only two conferences, simply didn’t come up before this year.

Funny how the people projecting bowl matchups and making a big deal about which bowl their school is going to go to are the same people who implore kids to not play in said bowl games.

I hope they make a good bowl game with a good matchup. But far more, I hope the kids on the team actually show some pride and play in the game.
