Why didn't they use this in preparation for the Illinois game?
Would preparing a backup QB to play if needed qualify as preparing for the future?
I read your GIF and expected the words "to pay" to appear between the words "prepare" and "for".
Are we sure that is real, actually from James? If it is I can only assume he does not plan to return to PSU. James needs to handle this stuff in house. Say whatever you want about your bosses, your coaches, your players, behind closed doors. Don't air the dirty laundry in public. This is really unseemly. I hope he has the team ready for tomorrow because if we lose this game it is not going to be pretty.

I wouldn’t read into it all that much. It’s typical motivational coach-speak fluff. It might have been a theme with the team this week.
I think the picture of Old Main in the background is an indicator of who he is speaking to. That's why I questioned if we are sure this is real. I prefer the 1-0 mantra!

If James Franklin leaves, we are going right to the cellar of the Big10 East. I think he’ll leave but we should do everything to keep him. Things are headed the right way despite losing 3 straight -most of which is due to injuries.
Come on man... they are as good as anyone in the B1G but O$U and they can still go toe to toe with them like few can. They do not have to join the arms race to be great. It doesn’t insure anything. Look at Clemson, Texas, USC, and LSU, Florida this year....
In spite of all the turmoil at LSU they’re giving Alabama all they could handle. I respectfully disagree with your post, at least in part. Yes, the programs you mention can have down years, but they are also capable of reloading much faster. They’re able to bend NCAA rules where everyone is on board directly or indirectly. Watch Texas in the next two years. Steve Sarkisian is recruiting SEC caliber athletes and poaching a few recruits away from Alabama.

No worries. There is a ten year plan in place. Or is it 20 years?? Anyway, Beaver Stadium (the money maker) is at the bottom of the list. Inverse thinking. Maybe the football practice/training facilities are higher.
