FC: Just saw this and thought it was interesting. I'm glad they are trying to keep the Nittany Lion Inn...

I totally support keeping the NLI alive and vibrant. Pat Kraft stated renovating Beaver Stadium was necessitated because Beaver Stadium is synonymous to Penn State.....i feel the NLI is also as important. As for price i am sure it may be equivalent to NYC....but it is just as rewarding an experience.
PS: It is also a great place to meet past Letterman and collect an autograph.

It’s depressing to drive by the NLI and see nothing going on with it, so very excited about this outlook for it. The skeptic in me though, believes it’s going to take well in excess of $10 million to do the kind of renovation and facelift this CEO is referencing.

thanks for sharing article. I took am glad the Nittany Lion Inn will be up and running again. I am sure it will be pricey, but I look forward to the restaurant and bar reopening.
Still have a gift card for dining. Always like the Sunday Morning Breakfast Buffet. Coach Franklin would bring recruits there. Met Adisa Issac while having brunch with my wife.

I enjoyed it as well although I agreed it needed renovation. The basket of apples by the entrance and the nice man who’s job if was to politely polish them for the guests was in my thoughts when they closed. I enjoyed many evenings with friends in Whiskers before various meetings I attended and often would take students out to dinner or drinks there. For some I think it was the best meal they had all semester. They made a good Old Fashioned there, and of course the popcorn machine - good memories…
