They do have top notch facilities and a record of recent playoff era Nattys which are certainly attractive. That said, in this NIL era there is probably some money being tossed around to attract recruits. Dabo's public talk might not match what he is encouraging on the low down.
Big time recruits who play for Clemson can have their family stay in a large home for their travels rather than pay for hotels. Allowing the families to stay and eat for free while watching their sons play is a big deal.
Are you serious? Dabo and Clemson are king of the bag man approach. A Clemson booster offered Rashan Gary and his family $300K the day before national signing day. Clemson uses a Church near campus as the go between. Clemson is possibly second only to Alabama in buying recruits and has done so ever since Dabo became their head coach. NIL just makes it easier to funnel the money.
