It’s not captioned, but I’ll find the summary somewhere, don’t worry. If it doesn’t work with Bieniemy, it doesn’t work. There have been worse hires, guys with more baggage. I trust Rivera.
I expect the Commanders to be sold sooner rather than later. Right now I believe that Snyder has checked out from the actual football side of the business, which would be fine with me. No proof, just belief.

Crap. Basically said Reid and Mahomes are the KC offense and that he doesn’t call plays. No individual identity as a coach and bad with players.

The problem is, a lot of these people that go on social media, ‘He should be the guy for the job,’ they haven’t played there,” McCoy said. “I’ve been in the rooms where he’s coaching and he has nothing to do with the pass game at all. When the plays are designed, that’s Andy Reid. When you talk about offensive coordinators, I can tell you what makes Brian Daboll with the Giants a very good coordinator. I can tell you about Andy Reid or Doug Pederson. But Eric Bieniemy, what makes him good? When we watch the film of practices and we correct the wide receivers, the running backs, the quarterbacks, he doesn’t talk in there. Andy Reid talks in there.”
Nonetheless, McCoy said he’s hoping Bieniemy succeeds in Washington.
“I’m rooting for him because he’s a Black coach and I love to see Black coaches win. Also, he’s a running backs coach, and running backs coaches never get a chance to be offensive coordinator,” McCoy said. “So I want him to do well, but if I have to do my job and be honest? My thing is, where is the true value at?”
Don’t tell that to the idiot Stephen A who claims Eric B is the reason for KC success and Andy Reid is holding him back.
I’ve seen that said by others, but didn’t think this was the case myself. Well, we’ll see. Like I said, I trust Rivera. There’s a healthy dynamic on the team, from what I can see. Starting over at QB, not good. Players like Howell, they don’t have the greatest track record. I mean, I see Howell peaking at Baker Mayfield’s NFL level. Baker Mayfield is not a SB quarterback.

Well there has to be a reason Bienemy was never offered a HC job.
I know and no one wanted him as a HC, so kind of implicates what Shady is saying.
Spot on boys. Every year for the last like 5-6 years he’s been the hot name in the coaching interviews yet never gets a job. And even here it’s a lateral move (yes I know “associate head coach” but it’s ceremonial at best). Something is going on here, beyond the NFLs “systemic racism” that’s kept him from being a HC.
In season it’s a 100 hour work week. I bet you even subconsciously you ask yourself “is that guy an assshole?”

great point. i've been on a few deployments where I've worked for a few folks that have been complete boners. like, i would't pi$$ on them to put them out if they were on fire. I see them stateside and they end up being super nice dudes, but the stress of the hours and deployment turns them into something they're not.

Bienemy has numerous arrests in his past. In college he was rumored to be in a gang. Those things can't help his case for a head coach position where he would basically be the face of the franchise. Given the success KC has had with him as OC, if he has not gotten a HC job yet, I can't imagine it ever happening. The Eagles had one great season and both coordinators leveraged it into HC positions.
