Interesting story - went to West Point, left to play football at Elon University, and ultimately graduated from Westchester. Got hired by SNL and subsequently fired (before ever starting the job) for some ‘insensitive’ jokes he made in the past. Does his own thing, builds his brand and is back to host after 5 years. His comedy isn’t really suited for live network TV, so his monologue was a bit rough, but he did well the rest of the way. Some Philly Easter eggs too (he also does a great Trump impression and I’m happy he got to use it).
