Someone needs to contract with the Wayans brothers to do their half-time alternative again.

Halftime is the perfect opportunity to get something to eat and figure out who won the first half polls. The last time the show was any good was when Up With People performed. 😱

It’s times like these this board truly shows it’s age. And the funny thing is almost every single one of these performers is 20+ years past their prime.

Prince is the undisputed king of the SB Halftime Show, but this show looks like it’s going to be absolutely 100% off the hook awesome!!!

Death. Taxes. People on the McAndrew Board complaining about the Super Bowl Halftime show or Grammys because the musical artist doesn’t fit into the tiny box of genres that they enjoy.

Totally. They should only have white musicians that play music that is palatable to older white audiences.

Younger generation (if they even pay attention to the super bowl) - who are these guys? The NFL might as well book Roy Orbison and Tom Petty as far as the younger kids are concerned.

If you don’t get it, you won’t get it. The people that get it know it. White, black, young, old, male or female, it doesn’t matter. When you get it, Dre’s infectious sound invades your body and soul and moves you. If you don’t get it, you won’t get it.

No younger kids know who Kendrick Lamar is? or Snoop for that matter?

They might know their personalities, but if they know their music it will be as the classics. It's not meant as an insult to the performers, just an acknowledgement of how they are viewed by younger audiences.

Lamar and Eminem have recent big time album success. Snoop, Blige, and Dre less so.

I can only assume that you don’t know anything about Kendrick Lamar by that comment. He’s probably the most popular musician for my 21 year old nephew and his friends. And you’d probably find that through a lot of that demographic.

Bring back the Beavis & Butthead Super Bowl halftime show so you can change the channel, I say.

Maybe Kirk Hammett could teach Keith something other than a blues scale.

And more stupid stuff that Keith has said.
On Zeppelin - “As a band, I felt aptly named, it never took off for me musically,”

“I love Jimmy Page, but as a band, no, with John Bonham thundering down the highway in an uncontrolled 18-wheeler. He had cornered the market there. Jimmy is a brilliant player. But I always felt there was something a little hollow about it, you know?”

Zep never took off me either Grant.

To each his own.
