Good actor.
He was in a short lived effort to bring Blazing Saddles to the small screen. Not surprisingly he was playing Cleavon Little's role. It may have only been a pilot episode and it was called Black Bart.

He was so good in that role. I lived on Parris Island when I was in elementary school for a time and was around a lot of DI’s. He nailed it and then some.

As a kid Iron Eagle became one of my most re-watched movies, loved it. RIP.
So many parts of that movie are etched in my memory. I've watched it a dozen times and always enjoy it.

He was a real, real bad guy in The Deep. Great actor. RIP sir.
