Without reading, I’ll assume that the troughs of the ground level at Beaver Stadium don’t make the cut.
Ah, yes. There's nothing quite like seeing a little river of urine run by as you're relieving yourself.

Yesterday's journalists passing along all they have learned to tomorrow's journalists. Joy.

I think this is a great topic! This is the real stuff I like hearing about rather then some whiny complainy article riddles with political undertones. Sometime when you gotta go its nice to go in comfort. I would suspect the newer buildings have the nicer bathrooms. If I need to take a dump in Beaver stadium I would walk to the other end of the stadium to the south side to the ones under the mt nittany club,

The things I look for in a good public bathroom. Enough space between urinals(I don't wont to be rubbing elbows or getting splashed by the chap taking a whiz next to me). Is the urinal draining. Are the faucets and soap motion activated because I really don't like touching that stuff. Disposable hand towels or blowers to dry hands? I like disposable hand towels and despise the blowers. When it comes to the crapper, is there a door on the stall and does it lock? (Went to a high school where they took the doors off so kids couldn't smoke of do drugs in the stall). Is the toilet paper always full. Do the crappers flush? Do they have the seat paper? Is it a long bowl or short round bowl?

Yeah I got picky in my old age. However, if you gotta go you gotta go sometimes.

To the poster mentioning the oak tree outside the Skellar, I know too many people who got caught by the PSU or State College cops for public urination around town and campus that I would get stage fright if I attempted that.

While on this topic, I noticed at Disney (which has very nice bathrooms throughout the park) they typically have one 'kid size' urinal and without fail some guy would be using it (despite 12 other available adult sized urinvals) when I took my son in to pee. Is it laziness (that the kid urinal is usually the closest to the door)? Or what?

Don't you just hate it when someone went into one of the stalls and used the toilet to pee in instead of the urinal, and then left the seat up?

Some of us need to use those so we don’t get submerged.

Or worse, they never lifted the seat in the first place and left the stall with urine on the seat.
Several years back, there was a period of time at our office when urine would be left on top of the urinal. And I’m talking normal adult urinals, not Disney-style kid urinals.

A few of us guys would speculate as to how the hell that was happening. It’s not as if we had any seven-foot men working there. We imagined some dude standing several feet back, “going for distance” and overshooting with his arc.

The mystery was never solved, but thankfully it stopped happening. Our quirky pee-er must have moved on to a different job.
