Not sure when this was released, but watched last night and really enjoyed the show. Particularly enjoyed Taylor Swift inducting and performing a song by Carole King (and Carole King's performance which included Jennifer Hudson belting out '(You Make Me Feel) Like a Natural Woman’), Dr. Dre inducting LL Cool J (who performed with Eminem and Jennifer Lopez who looks absolutely amazing), really cool and informative segments on Kraftwerk and Randy Rhodes, Dave Chappelle inducting Jay-Z (who I think thinks he's Basquiat these days and who didn't perform...which was weird, as was Beyonce's absence), and finally, Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters (who killed their set and then jammed with Paul). It's a long show but I really enjoy the historical footage and great stories about how bands/acts come together (LL Cool J sent his demo tape to Rick Rubin at NYU and was the first act signed to Def Jam). Worth watching if you like that stuff; sucks that we missed out on NIN and Depeche Mode performing live last year, but nice to see everyone together in one place celebrating music. Oh - and I agree with Taylor Hawkins who suggested Jane's Addiction, George Michael, and Soundgarden should be inducted soon.
