Why even have a regular season Nick? Just line up the preseason 1 & 2 and save everyone a bunch of time? Crybaby.

Sour grapes. When “they” told me…who’s “they“ and why does their opinion matter?

Ohio State was ahead of Georgia for 3 quarters and lost by 1 point. Not buying that Alabama was better than Ohio State last year. Ohio State deserved to be there.

Michigan deserved to be in the finals by winning the Big. The TCU loss was a shock. Lightning in a bottle for TCU.

Bama lost to LSU and Tenn. Barely beat Texas and TAMU.

PSU beat Auburn by more than Bama.

It wasn’t going to last forever Nick.

Independent of its impact on Alabama, Nick is right. Human beings are biased (no matter who they are) and should NOT be picking the 4 best teams. I think strength of schedule needs to play in the formula. I think conference championships need to be in the formula. How can you be one of the 4 best teams if you did not win your division? Ohio State was good last year, but they now have Michigan in their head and cannot beat them.

Where was Nick's whining when the human bias got his team into the playoff?

I'm all for set criteria because anything less is an invitational, but Nick is just politicking. He was ok when he was the 4 seed who got in without even winning his division. Just because they won the title that year doesn't make it right.

Best teams don’t always win. It’s why everything should be merit based. Win your division, conference, etc. It’s why the NFL is the most popular sport in America - it’s fair.

Except in your scenario, human being are still doing the picking. How is strength of schedule determined? Based on how teams are ranked. And who decides how highly ranked a team is? Even using computer models, it was a human setting that algorithm to be used, which will include biases. No matter what you use, at some point it was humans injecting subjectivity.

He has really become a baby about everything anymore. His complaint here is essentially
centered around his team underperforming. Odd thing to complain about as the coach of that team.
