OSU has four first-team All-America. Serious talent, I hadn’t quite realized this, knew they were good but four AA? Hmm.

Narduzzi can’t afford to get fired. Grass cutting season is coming to an end and it’s a few months until snow shoveling season. Can he survive with just a lemonade stand???

I hope he doesn’t get fired, seriously. sPitt and that idiot are a match made in a Taco Bell bathroom.

That’s just talent. What really matters is coaching.

😞

Ideally both. Saban couldn’t do it at MSU, but could at LSU and Bama. Spurrier did it at Florida, but not at S. Carolina. Meyer did it everywhere he’s been. Then you look at teams loaded with talent but falling short - A&M, Georgia under Richt, OSU under Day, ND pretty much this century. Then you look at coaches who outperform their recruiting rankings - Whittingham, Ferentz, Peterson, Patterson. There is no one ideal (unless you’re Saban or Meyer).

We have both in spades. 😀

Pitt was dumb enough to sign him through 2030. The Dooz. A guy who has managed only two seasons at Pitt with less than five losses. Year ten in 2024 looks like it's going to be a stinker too. Would they fire him and eat the remainder of his contract?? If the ACC falls apart and Pitt has nowhere else to go, they may not be able to afford to fire him.

Midnighter can't help himself.

Perhaps Franklin moonlights as an Amazon delivery driver and has delivered a lot of packages to wives of posters on this board ...

Some people still just hate this guy, and would love to see him get dumped in the Harbor like a sack of tea.

He’s not even through one game! C’mon. We know who you meant. Give me odds that Franklin renegotiates his contract this year for a raise/extension. Better than 50/50 IMO. If he’s undefeated into OSU and makes the playoffs Penn State should consider it.

If he loses them....no.

Then UF goes after CJF and we get Urban and then there will be great rejoicing in the Halls of the BWI Board.

Meyer wins a NC in fewer than four years wherever he ends up next IMO.

I have no idea on gambling, so I don't do it. If he makes it into the play offs, then realistically all he has done is held serve. Because 10-2 should get you in, unless those two losses are to Kent State and the other bobo school. If that is all that it takes then....OK. Get paid while you can.
